Texapore O2+ Hyproof

For those among you who are very active and sporty, TEXAPORE O2+ HYPROOF offers more than our basic TEXAPORE: it comprises excellent breathabilityof 15,000 g/m²/24h**. HYPROOF is synonymous with being very waterproof, i.e. a hydrostatic head rating of at least 30,000 mm* (just under 3 bar) – no water penetrates the membrane even when put under greater pressure such as carrying a fully packed backpack.By nature, TEXAPORE is totally windproof and PFC-free with a permanent water-repellent coating, meaning that water simply beads off the outer fabric.

Background

Our TEXAPORE waterproof technology is the functional core of almost all of our outdoor jackets and many of our weather protection products. The layer between outer fabric and inner lining is reliably waterproof, lets moisture vapour escape from the inside and is completely windproof. It means that you are not affected by weather conditions and can actually enjoy windy and rainy weather. We have been investing in the development of our membranes and coatings for more than 35 years. Over the years, we have developed a performance level for different activities, ranging from hiking and trekking to trail running.
