Recycled materials

All recycled components are certified in accordance with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).

A milestone in terms of recycled goods is undoubtedly our rain-proof Texapore-Ecosphere jacket: Not only is the shell and lining made of 100% recycled polyester – the same can be said of the highly technical, waterproof membrane. This technology is unique in the world. PET bottles are primarily used to make the textile fabric. The membrane is manufactured from reconditioned remnants which are left over from the production process. We call this the zero-waste concept: The waste is once again turned into a raw material.

This sustainable approach is the basis of an even broader range of products which we offer: We now even produce fleece fabrics and synthetic fillings made of 100% recycled plastics for apparel and accessories such as hats and gloves. These innovative materials are performing just as well as the conventional ones. Our next aim is to produce small parts like buttons and zips as well as polybags from recycled materials.

All recycled components used in our products have been certified in line with the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), meaning we can trace back and follow the supply chain to its origin. We are currently working on getting the recycling materials certified by bluesign®, in order to ensure that these comply with the limits on harmful substances.
